07 Blauer Pfau: a suite with a view across the estate.
The Blauer Pfau (Indian peafowl) is on the first floor, on the courtyard. Across 43.75 m², the suite combines a sleeping area, living area and kitchen, and from up here the view reaches far across the grounds.
The rooms
A 180 × 200 cm double bed, a living area with dining table, a kitchen with hob, fridge and crockery, a bathroom and an additional guest WC. The suite has no balcony; the park is one flight of stairs down.
Who it suits
Couples looking for a suite, and business travellers who sleep more quietly one floor above the courtyard.
Why Blauer Pfau
The Indian peafowl comes from India and Sri Lanka and is India's national bird. Its train is not a tail but a gown of greatly elongated covert feathers, which the male raises into a fan during courtship. It has been part of the scene in European palace parks for centuries.
Included with every stay
Breakfast at the long table, daily from 7.30 to 10 am, parking in front of the door, free Wi-Fi, plus sauna, gym, tennis court, organic swimming pond and bicycles. Check-in from 3 pm via the key safe, check-out by 10.30 am. Guests must be 18 or over to book; accompanying guests are welcome from the age of 12. Pets are not permitted.
